Do you compete with Meta AI / Muse?
HelloLine complements the tools you use for messaging by answering your business phone calls. Meta AI and Muse offer assistant experiences, including through WhatsApp. HelloLine captures phone enquiries and sends you the details by email, WhatsApp or both, so you can follow up using your existing tools. The founding plan does not include a Meta AI or Muse integration.
How does the free 7-day trial work?
The pilot is a free 7-day trial, no strings attached. Setup and onboarding are free, and there is no obligation to subscribe afterwards. Submitting the form does not start your trial. We prepare your assistant with you and agree when your 7 days begin.
Are there any setup charges?
No. Setup and onboarding are free. There is no setup charge during the trial or if you choose to continue on the paid plan.
How do I cancel?
The free 7-day trial has no obligation to subscribe. If you choose the paid plan, you can cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. Contact the team to give notice.
What happens after 200 minutes?
On the paid plan, minutes above the included 200 per month cost R3.50 per minute excluding VAT (approximately R4.03 including 15% VAT). These charges apply only to the paid plan; the 7-day trial is free. We explain minute measurement and billing during setup. Automatic usage alerts are not currently offered.
Does R999 include VAT?
R999 excludes VAT. The monthly total is R1,148.85 including 15% VAT. No payment or subscription starts by submitting this form.
What happens to recordings and transcripts?
We’ll explain whether your setup records calls or retains transcripts, which providers process the data, where it is stored and how long it is kept before activation. Read our privacy information or ask the pilot team for details.
Can I keep my existing business number?
Yes. You keep your existing number, and every answering agent we set up has its own unique dedicated number. Advertise it as an additional business number, forward calls from your existing number to it, or do both. We help check forwarding support; your network may charge for forwarded calls.
Is this only for plumbers?
No. HelloLine is for small businesses across industries that need basic questions answered and useful messages captured. We’ll confirm whether your needs are a fit when we contact you.
What if the assistant doesn’t know the answer?
It takes a message for you to follow up. It is not intended to invent answers, give specialist advice, provide quotes or confirm bookings.
Can I receive summaries by email or WhatsApp?
Yes. Choose email, WhatsApp or both for your call summaries. WhatsApp is optional: you can use email only. We confirm your preference during free setup and onboarding.
Which languages can it handle?
HelloLine supports English and Afrikaans. We’ll confirm your preferred language and business-specific answers during setup.
Can I sell HelloLine as a broker?
